You deserve a life you can afford.
For State Senate 7
Meet Jared
If you can't afford to be healthy, you can't afford anything else.
Many people are doing everything right — working hard, raising families, trying to be responsible — and the bills keep climbing. Groceries, rent, utilities, and insurance. When you get sick, the system often punishes you for needing help or just straight up denies the help doctors recommend. The status quo isn't working and change must happen.
I graduated from UAB with a degree in public health, and I've spent eight years working in affordable housing and neighborhood development — as a small business owner and at nonprofits.
I'm running because loving your neighbor isn't a slogan. It's a responsibility that must be reflected in our policies. Let's build a state where people can afford to live, get care, and get ahead.
Common-Sense Priorities
Your tax dollars should work for you — not against you.
It's unacceptable that we can instantly compare the price, reviews, and quality of a restaurant — but for healthcare we often can't see the cost or quality until after the service is done. I'll push for bills that create price transparency and lower costs in healthcare so families can get care without guessing.
A starter home shouldn't be a luxury item. Housing costs are rising faster than paychecks. We need more homes and places people can actually afford. I'll cut barriers that drive up costs and support practical housing solutions that fit our communities.
If the government is going to tax us, our dollars should go to what actually strengthens families: paying teachers better, supporting farmers, fixing roads, and making healthcare affordable — not waste and dysfunction. Tax dollars should help families — not fail them.
Help Us Make This Real.
The biggest factor in whether someone votes for me is simple: they've heard of me — or met me. Help me make that happen.
